as a ps3 owner, i refuse to purchase anything EA for it until they decide to finally put some effort into their titles.
EA has been the cause of many flame wars on this site, due to their incompetence with ps3.
keep feeding us garbage and see that 17m figure shrink some more.
I'd rather spend 7 hrs playing heavenly sword than 99% of so called "AAA" next generation games. Anyone who's dissing HS clearly is not a gamer, but simply a blind fanboy.
EDF: from what i've seen fo far on ME, the graphics look nice, but not HS nice.
I still believe HS could've been a little longer, but not much. just like a movie, you run the risk of "dragging" the story for too long.
Some online minigames would've been welcomed. Perhaps some...
Folklore is fun, the mistake people make is playing both characters at the same time. You should finish the game with one character, then go back and play with the other character to finish the story.
would rather get capcom vs snk2 with some nice online than this game, i have LP for 360 and i haven't even started playing it, too many games to play.
that video blackjack posted looks much better than the screenshots. What engine is this game using? the graphics remind me of Halo 3.
I hope they don't go out of business. Where am i going to go rent movies now? I don't mind online rentals, but online you have to order in advance. If i feel like watching a movie i can drive down to bluckbuster and rent it real quick.
why do 360 guys even care? according to you guys ps3 has no games to play, F1 being one of them so it must be trash, why even bother with this title then?
The uncharted "massive" video looks amazing. It must be the final version because it blew me away. i must've watched it 5 times in a row admiring the sweet graphics.
having played the demo on 360, i would honestly say the graphics are identical with the only exception being the PS3 is a bit brighter.
As far as controls, it doesn't feel as solid as the ps3 version thanks to 360s D-PAD.
The 360 version should score .5 more due to online play, though the PS3 version should get that .5 right back with tighter controls.
I should add: i have my ps3 hooked with HDMI set a 720p & my 360 with VGA resolution 1280 X 1024 widescreen ...

Very different it seems like, but to each their own.
I like mp done right as much as anyone, I stay up almost every night playing gears, warhawk or tekken 5. but no mp is not a deal breaker as long as the game has an impact on me. ie, bioshock, Half-life 2, Heavenly Sword, Rachet, etc.
just because you get off while playing online doesn't mean we all make love to a "game" as you call it.
When i feel like being social, i go outside and hang out with my friends or invite them over.
i don't need a mp game for that.
that's like me saying special effects make today's movies. I won't watch any movies that do not feature special effects.
after all, who cares about a great storyline and seamless, enjoyable single player experience? I'm a lonely person so i must have some immature 12 year old screaming in my ear to remind me i'm alive.
Considereing Insomniac jumped from RFOM directly to R&C, and still came up with a game that lived up and in many ways surpassed the hype.
If they had included MP, it probably would've meant a few things:
-Game does not release until next year or
-single player campaing takes a hit and it's not as long due to MP and time constraints.

Virtua fighter 5 is an awesome game. One of those games that tends to get overlooked by people when they throw the "ps3 has no games card"
the fact that 360 has online is a nice bonus.
as far as guitar hero goes. don't forget that ps3 users have to buy the $100.00 bundle. where xbox 360 users can purchase the game individually.
